Recommended Printer Settings Flow: 150–200% Speed: 10–15 mm/s Fan: 100% Layer Height: 0.2 mm Material: PLA (recommended) Nozzle: 0.4–0.6 mm These settings worked best on a FlashForge AD5X using a 0.6 mm nozzle. 🧠 Why This Test Matters Bridges don’t print like normal layers — there’s no surface beneath them to squash against. Boosting flow creates wider lines that touch and stay straight, while slower speeds plus max cooling help prevent sagging and stringing.
